Tm = Team View
(2.7”) Shows your favourite team’s league position and statistics, previous 2 games, their current match (with live score and goal scorers), and their next 2 games.
(4.2” and 7.5”) Also shows the league table including your team, the 3 teams above and below, the top 3 and the bottom 3.

 

T = Table View
(4.2” and 7.5”) Shows the complete league table, together with a compact view of recent results and upcoming fixtures/latest scores. For a 20-team league (e.g. English Premier League), the 10 most recent results and the next 10 fixtures are shown. Smaller leagues will have room for more results/fixtures, while larger leagues will have fewer.

 

M = Match View (League Games)
(4.2” and 7.5”) Shows yesterday’s results, today’s latest scores, and future fixtures for the selected league. It also gives you every goal scorer and red card, plus the league position of every team.

 

A = Match View (All Competitions)
(4.2” and 7.5”) Shows the same information as Match View (League Games), but also includes matches from supported domestic and European cup competitions for clubs in the selected league.

 

H = Hybrid View
(4.2” and 7.5”) Shows the complete league table plus match view. Available for leagues with 12 teams or less.

How can I select different leagues?

When you setup your League Frame (using the ‘Setup’ button at the top of this website), you can select up to 5 leagues/teams/views to assign to your device.

 

You can set your League Frame to automatically rotate through your views at your selected time interval.

 

If you prefer, you can set your League Frame to move to your next view with a press of the button on the back.

 

Each press of the button moves to the next view, and you can press the button multiple times to jump leagues (e.g. press twice to skip a league).

 

After your button press/presses, it will take around 1 to 2 minutes for the display to be refreshed with your selected league.

How often is the data refreshed?

Your League Frame is updated whenever there is new information to show.

 

Latest scores are updated approximately every 5 minutes (or at longer intervals if changed in your device settings) and will be time-delayed by a minute or two due to the screen refresh process.

What is electronic paper?

League Frame uses an electronic paper display, which is similar to those used in e-readers such as Kindles. It has a high contrast and feels more like looking at a piece of paper than a traditional tablet screen.

 

The screen doesn’t give out any light of its own, but instead it reflects the ambient light around it (like paper). This means that it doesn’t glow all night or light up your room.

 

The display only consumes power when it is being updated, and it keeps showing the information even after power is disconnected (although we don’t recommend this for more than a few hours).

 

The display refresh process involves the screen flashing several times, and it takes several seconds to fully update.

How is League Frame powered?

League Frame is powered by a USB-C cable (supplied) that you can plug in to an old mobile phone charger or computer USB socket.

 

League Frame needs to remain connected to power at all times.

 

There is no battery in League Frame, but because of the electronic paper technology it keeps showing the information even after power is disconnected (although we don’t recommend this for more than a few hours).

What material is used for the casing?

League Frame’s casing is a custom 2-piece design produced by fused deposition modelling using plastic.

 

This is not a mass-production process, so every casing is unique. This does mean that there will be minor imperfections and rough edges on the casing.

Where is League Frame manufactured?

Every League Frame is hand assembled in Britain, where it was also coded and designed. We source components from local suppliers wherever possible.

What is included in the box?

The box contains your League Frame, a right-angled USB-C to USB-A cable, and a Quick Start Guide.

 

A power adapter is not supplied, but you can use an old mobile phone charger or computer USB socket.
